What that means for bathrooms in Bernalillo
The biggest group of Bernalillo homes, 24%, was built in the 2010s. Fixtures from that period are usually white or neutral, so refinishing there is more often about wear, chips, and stains than an outdated color.
About 1,867 Bernalillo homes were built before 1990, so a large share of bathrooms have fixtures that are decades old. Refinishing repairs the surface and recoats it in place, so the tile, plumbing, and layout you already have stay put.
Most Bernalillo households own their homes (77%), and refinishing is a way to update a dated bathroom without a remodel. We also work in rental properties.
