Why refinishing makes sense
Removing a cast iron tub means demolition and hauling something very heavy out of the house, then dealing with the tile and plumbing around it. Refinishing skips all of that.
What the job includes
A thorough clean and acid wash, repair of chips and cracks, new caulking, an epoxy primer, and a premium coating built to last 10 to 15 years. Most jobs are finished in 4 to 5 hours.
